Biography

Daniel founded Dozier Strategies in 2017 and has worked for both the US and French governmental agencies responsible for global trade and commerce helping promote the ties between the two countries for more than a decade.

Daniel DOZIER

Prior to becoming an independent consultant Daniel served as an Investment Manager & Director of Special Projects for Business France and was based in Chicago but covered both the US and Canada.  

Throughout his career Daniel has advised a range of public organizations and destinations on strategic international development with a focus on innovative investment projects that help realize public policy goals as established by local, regional and national elected officials. Daniel has a Masters of Tourism Administration from the George Washington University Business School and brings nearly two decades of international experience and high profile political campaign skills as well as extensive destination development expertise to his clients. 

Earlier in his career, Daniel served as Chief of Staff to the US Ambassador for the World Expo in Milan, Italy in 2015 and served in the same capacity at the residence of the US Ambassador to France and Monaco from 2009 through 2012 where he curated social, cultural and diplomatic events for the Embassy in Paris, France. 

Daniel started his career on President Obama’s 2008 campaign as Director of International Fundraising and then served in the same role for the Inauguration in 2009 and at the Democratic National Committee before moving to France. He graduated with Honors from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University in 2006 and was the recipient of the Raymond Dinsmore merit-based scholarship that allowed him to conduct primary research in destinations including Morocco, South Africa, Madagascar, Singapore, Australia and Canada. He currently lives between Chicago, Paris and Washington, DC.

Jenna has spent her career at the intersection of business and government, pursuing big opportunities and solving big challenges. As a Paris-based strategic consultant, Jenna puts to work her years of leadership in government, innovation, public-private partnerships, and trade policy and promotion to deliver results for global organizations seeking to invest and grow in the United States, for U.S. firms looking to expand and win more business abroad, and for innovative organizations leading in digital transformation. Jenna’s experience spans both the commercial and defense sectors, from R&D to international sales and export promotion, with a particular focus in digital transformation, advanced manufacturing, supply chain resiliency and cybersecurity.

Prior to consulting, Jenna served as the Vice President for Strategy and Engagement at MxD, a U.S. Department of Defense funded manufacturing innovation facility in Chicago, working with the U.S. technology and manufacturing firms, the U.S. government, and academic institutions to innovate cybersecure solutions to enable U.S. technology superiority and manufacturing competitiveness. Jenna has more than 12 years of government experience, including as the Senior Executive Service (SES) Executive Director of the Advocacy Center at the U.S. Department of Commerce. There, she led the U.S. government’s advocacy strategy in support of nearly 1,200 transactions valued at $945 billion, expanding U.S. commercial presence across the commercial and defense sectors, in global infrastructure initiatives and at the multilateral development banks (including reopening the U.S. commercial office at the African Development Bank in Abidjan). Jenna also worked as the Director of the Advisory Committee and Industry Outreach Office at the Department of Commerce, ensuring outside perspectives were brought into the policymaking process. In addition to her work at Commerce, Jenna also served President Obama in roles at the White House, on the 2008 and 2012 presidential campaigns and in the U.S. Senate. Jenna began her career working at the Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company (now part of Mars) in Chicago.
